I was expecting to go further with this but I got to frustrated with the space and how bad it looked eventually I gave up lol.

Pretty damn good SexyAlice, I must say. I definitely enjoy your fractual nebulae effect used in this piece and also the effect of the molten lava gushing out from the crater of the volcano. The watery lake also brings out the piece and gives it some depth. Designing a good and complementary terrain is not always an easy task; you did quite well for someone who 'hates doing spacey-related things'. ;)

Although I can understand that this piece reflects the beginning of some sort of planet and sol system, I do think that the top portion of it is rather sloppy and cluttered with too many things. In reality, even a planet at the stage you're drawing it has a stronger atmosphere thus space is not so visible (especially when some sort of light source is out). There is too much space dust or star dust in the piece that clash with the clouds; it almost gives it a 2D look that was roughly meshed together.

The water also is slightly conflicting with the image. Water does not exist so early on at the stages of the planet that you are trying to create. Either leave the water out and make it barren to give it a "new born look" or take out the phantom-like effect given with the space dust/star dust and make the atmosphere more visible. It just doesn't make sense to have the sky so clear, even with the gaseous clouds looming above the land.

I hope I have not offended you; it truly is a great piece and far better than what I could dare compose but I am only going by the 'Advanced Critique Encourage'; you obviously want to improve, right? Do so then by looking at either volcanic pictures, a barren wasteland, or images of other artists to get a better view of how to accompolish whatever it is you're trying to do. Thanks and much love for hearing me out.

I like the textures a lot and the volcanoes part, but in my opinion its a little confused with the colors.
I missed the refletion of the lava on the water too. ;)

this is so complicated but need more depth, IMO, you should make the resolution bigger, or not like many stuffs are forced to stuck in a small place, so this is what i think. But anyway it is a good artpoece ^^
Sweet as hell! The vulcan thing doesn't really fit in thou.. But really GJ with sky!
